I selected this topic because I strongly believe in the importance of considering each child’s needs during transition periods—whether it’s transitioning for drop-off, heading outdoors, or switching activities. Additionally, with a constant influx of new children each year, each with unique characteristics, as an early childhood educator, I am keen to understand how I can better support children during these transition times and meet their individual needs. This topic is integral to our work and warrants comprehensive exploration.
